  • This cemetery contains graves from several pioneer families. McAdams, Burdine, Christopher and tragically six members of the Hunt family who died in a typhoid epidemic. Mary Hunt was nee Burdine and a sister to James McAdams first wife, Nancy. If you visit in the summer you will only see a few graves. The bulk of the cemetery is hidden behind the tree line, overgrown with time. A winter visit taught me that. James McAdams Great Grandson of the one buried here.
